A3 Architects’ Alison Alessi and Meghan Lyman participated in the BSA Cape and Island Architects Annual Discussion. This year the focus was on innovative housing strategies for the Cape and islands. The format was based on Pechu Kucha, where presenters show 20 slides in 6 minutes 40 seconds– i.e. 20 slides for 20 seconds each. The goal of the event was to show a broad range of ideas and practices for affordable housing on Cape Cod.
Alison Alessi presented our energy-efficient affordable housing project, Thankful Chases Pathway Project . Meghan Lyman (A3 Architects, Intern Architect) and Christopher Lyman presented a Marcel Breuer affordable housing project that was proposed for the Wellfleet area.
